Nobody’s Looking [What Would you Do?]

What would you do if there is a sack of money laying in the middle of the street? Would you pick it up and report it? Or would you take it home without saying a word…and ultimately spend it? It is a VERY interesting question to pose. I hear all kinds of answers when I ask this question to my audience.

The problem with EVERYONE’S answer is that it is as hypothetical as the question. Sure, you said that you would “report” the sack of money to the authorities, but was that just to sound good in front of other people? Or would you really follow through with what you said?

The other thing you may want to think about is that how the answers were presented to you. Did you simply choose one of my selected answers or did you create a new resolve yourself? For example, if you found this sack of money, you could also take some for yourself and report the remaining stash.

The point I am trying to make is that we have the ability to use our brains to make decisions and it is the thoughts we developed during these thinking periods that determine our actions. Whether your thoughts are limited by other people or your own hindrances, the actions we take from our thoughts REALLY define who we are.

We tend to be DIFFERENT individuals when we are around other people, BUT the real test in character is who we are in private. Who are you when nobody is looking? That is the REAL question. You can tell me ALL your good attributes, how responsible you are, and how great of a citizen you would be by returning the sack of money, but what REALLY matters is what you would ACTUALLY do when nobody is around.

Who we are behind closed doors is imperative to our overall success in life. You can tell me you read 15 books a week, but if you really don’t, the only person you are hurting is yourself. We MUST be real with ourselves and STOP trying to fool everyone into thinking we are people WE REALLY ARE NOT!

At the end of the day, we are simply lying to ourselves. Real character is built and maintained by being the person we say we are behind closed doors. To act in accordance with who we say we are regardless of WHERE we are and WHO is around is being REAL with ourselves,

I want to challenge you today to do a little critical thinking. Think about the scenario I gave and develop thoughts about what you would REALLY do in that situation. It is important we not only KNOW ourselves, but develop the people we are. And if it means challenging our character, then that’s what it is.

It’s not going to be easy at first, but in the end, you will be a BETTER, more evolved person. Take the time today and let’s make sure our thoughts are in line with our desired actions. Build your character TODAY!

Look Who Just ‘PAST’ Me!

What in the world kind of grammatical FAIL title is that? LOL! In all honesty, I was going for the whole “play on words” kind of thing, but I am not so sure about it now. I may be feeding off a little beverage my wife had last night with dinner. It was called “Jamaican Me Happy”.  I have no idea why I think that’s so funny.

Anyway I wanted to talk about a topic that has been on my heart the last couple of weeks. It is something I touch on every once in while and I wanted to address it again.

It’s ALL about our experiences and our reaction to them. I want to talk about our PAST…hence the cheesy title.

More and more I am realizing that past event REALLY do happen for a reason. Not to be all cliche or anything, but each time I come to this conclusion, my mind expands. It’s like every time I study my past, it reinforces this old saying…”things happen for a reason”.

Let us take the time now to remind ourselves that the PAST has an EXTREMELY important part in our growth. Spiritually, physically, financially, relational, and educationally, the past is our foundation for how advanced we are in each category.

Okay, I am done with the ‘refresher’! I mentioned that old saying to say this…we have to have the mature ability to reflect on our past (regardless of how painful it can be at times) and use it as a TOOL!

I know it can be hard, but tapping into these experiences will allow us to become more advanced in present and future dealings. The PAST is not in place to stop you or prevent you from achieving your goals, it’s the complete opposite!

Use it to your advantage and apply the lessons as you go along. Write them down…teach them…do something positive with them, but most importantly LEARN from them.

I really DO understand that this is something you heard before, but I find that reminding myself of the basics every once in a while can keep me from making silly mistakes.

That being said, DO NOT hold a grudge on your past because it has lead you up to THIS point…and if you are reading this right now…I have GOOD NEWS! Something GREAT is about to happen in your life. I just feel it in my soul…the tables are about to turn and EVERYTHING that WAS against you, will NOW be in your favor! Supernatural BLESSINGS are coming your way. God knows what you have been experiencing and knows your struggle. Simply KEEP the faith and keep at it! You are CLOSER than you think and your dreams are about to unfold!

Go out there and use your PAST to catapult your dreams into fruition!

TOP SECRET: Only Read If You Want Massive Change

I wanted to reach out to you and reveal one of my best kept secrets. The reason why I have been holding onto this secret is because I have always felt that the TIMING had to be just right.

That being said I wanted to provide to you something of extreme value that will propel your life into the NEXT LEVEL. The other reason being is that I have been so blessed in my life that I wanted to spread my joy with as many people as possible as I believe it has been my FAITH in God that has allowed me to grow exponentially as a person.

What I am about to reveal is NOTHING new, but maybe I can give it a modern spin to help explain.

I was at a point of complete frustration in my life and I needed a CHANGE rally bad! After praying about it and looking for some direction, I came across a program that was talking about the struggles of life. In fact, I felt like the program was talking to me directly!

Then this bearded man came on the television screen and said something that FLOORED me! He said if you are in a time of NEED, then you need to GIVE.

WHAT???

What in the world was I going to “give” if I was in a jam myself? This was absolutely the contrary to my belief system. I mean, I believed in “karma” and all, but I was confused as to how I was going to GIVE in a time of NEED.

He went on to explain that GIVING during your times of NEED yields the BIGGEST returns!!! God knows you are struggling and  see’s the trials you are going through!

That week I was looking for ways I could help other people, donate money and study scriptures as much as possible. Literally within weeks my life had completely transformed into a GREATER version!

I now credit this secret to ALL my overcoming times in life.

If you are in a jam yourself, GIVING (especially when you are the weakest) is you ANSWER to getting out! You may feel like ALL you can give is NOT ENOUGH or so LITTLE, but God will meet you at your needs and see’s that you are sacrificing!

I know this concept is old, but I felt like it was something I needed to share. There may be someone out there in NEED of this message and I pray it reaches them today!

I also wanted to thank everyone who showed their support through-out the years. It has been an incredible ride and there is MUCH MORE to come! The future is packed with all kinds of fun-filled adventures and projects!

Stay tuned for more exciting news that will be released in the upcoming weeks! There has been a ton of NEW things being mapped out behind the scenes. It is only a matter of time for their reveal!!! I think  you will be pleasantly surprised!!!

Make it a great day!
